I ended up staying in a room right under the 2nd-floor stairwell, which was dated and bordering on disrepair. Despite paying a high price for it, I felt it wasn't worth the cost. On the bright side, the buffet breakfast was decent, and I loved the proximity to the Bay, marina, airport, Siesta Key, and Bradenton Beach.
